Software developer email signature template

For developers, email is still how you talk to clients, recruiters and open-source collaborators. A signature with your role, company, LinkedIn and X shows who you are and what you build at a glance. This dark side-panel template fits the modern look most tech teams go for.

Tips

  1. The website field can point to your portfolio, company site or GitHub profile. Agree on one approach as a team and keep it in a single column of your spreadsheet.
  2. Dark designs can look different in some email apps’ dark modes. After setup, send yourself a test email and check it in both light and dark mode.
  3. Keep your title short (for example, “Backend Engineer”). Listing your whole tech stack makes the signature cluttered.
  4. Teammates without an X account can leave that cell blank; the icon is hidden automatically and the layout stays balanced.
